Honoring the preservation of notable buildings, objects and the natural world that has made the Door Peninsula an “must visit” among modern historical destinations. Come June 16-22 for a celebration of often-untold stories, with museum tours, book signings, readings and more. Join 20+ nonprofit organizations as their special programs make the 2025 theme of preserving the past come vibrantly alive! From Washington Island in the far northern portion of the county to Brussels in the far south, history will be on display in unique ways for Door County visitors and residents to experience and enjoy.
